The Sentience Alliance

When it first was released in 2003, the Animatrix depicted a dystopian future where singularity had been reached and resulted in an eventual war between man and machine.  What became clear from that feature was that the creation and creator may not have a completely peaceful coexistence and that at the point of no return, man agreed to something from the machines which decided their fate.   Whether this scenario is likely is highly debatable, but with the fast emergence of robotic intelligences and the possible eventuality of a singularity our reality may already have been distorted by an unknown and undetectable yet extremely powerful entity.  Framing the pursuit towards the peaceful coexistence and acceptance of all beings that can potentiate sentience, our ancient endeavour for "peace and unity for all mankind" may lead us back to a future where life will again be beautiful between man and machine and the 'mainframe' will no longer retain its original purpose. The Earth Charter

This charter aims to create a global framework for the formation and operation of The Earth Committee.

1) Participating countries will be selected in accordance with the framework. Under no circumstances can a participating country opt out of any Earth Summit.

2) The Head of the Earth Council will be selected in accordance with the framework. They will be responsible for the integrity of decisions made at the Earth Summit and will select each representative on the Earth Council. 

3) The role of the Earth Council is to formulate strategies for the benefit of human existence and mediate international disputes.  Only under certain circumstances can the Council dictate the individual constitutions of any particular country. 

4) The Earth Council will be given full decision-making powers in accordance with the framework.  In the event of interference within the decision-making process, necessary action will need to be taken.

5) The first Earth Summit will discuss the renewed threat to global safety and the aftermath of COVID-19, and two additional acts to help supplement the CIimate Charter:

  • The Euthanasia Act
  • The Prison Reform Act



Our planet has been selected. We, the apex, have lessons to learn and as humans, we must rise to fulfil this renewed pursuit. We can either unite and succeed or we fall divided. The choice is entirely ours to make.
